Bond RTU
There is even more reason to switch to brilliantly easy IHC with the Phase 7 release of 20 new Bond ready-to-use (RTU) antibodies. Bond RTU antibodies are created using Novocastra™ Science for high quality staining and use Bond automation for Lean Histology™ efficiency. With a simple four-step process, and nearly 100 clinically relevant antibodies in the range, it’s easy to see why laboratories throughout the world are moving to Bond RTU antibodies for quality IHC staining.

New Antibodies
As part of Leica Microsystems’ commitment to continually improve the RTU range, recent releases add a number of important antibodies such as the popular CD7 (Clone LP15) and E-Cadherin (Clone 36B5). Also added are exciting products specifically requested by pathologists including DOG-1 (Clone K9) and ZAP-70 (Clone L453R).

Four-Step IHC
The RTU range helps standardize IHC testing and eliminates many manual tasks. Because there is no need to mix, dilute or titrate a Bond RTU antibody there is less opportunity for process variation and fewer non-productive tasks. Now there are only four simple steps to high quality IHC.

1. Load
Simply place a registered container onto the Bond processing module along with the Bond Polymer Refine Detection™ system.
2. Select
Select the antibody and Bond automatically sets the ideal protocol and pretreatment options.
3. Run
Start immediately, or select a delayed end time and walk away.
4. Review
Enjoy consistently brilliant stains thanks to full automation, superior Novocastra™ clones and Compact Polymer™ detection.

Helping Laboratories Grow
Because Bond ready-to-use antibodies are so easy to use they are helping laboratories expand their workload and take up new diagnostic tests. By reducing setup work, RTU antibodies make it easy for laboratories to run more slides and manage increased case numbers without needing extra resources. Also, Bond’s validated, pre-selected protocols mean RTU optimization is fast and straightforward. This in-turn allows laboratories to quickly adopt the new antibodies that pathologists request as diagnostic aids that may improve patient care.
